POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Just bought a new PC. Not playing anymore because of this problem. Keep crashing. Don't want to brick my new PC. Hope they will say something about this today.

Still no fix, game crashes again.

Is it really that f***ing hard to make a temporary option that would disable not all multithreading but only 2 cores? (which wouldn't eliminate game crashes, but at least the computer wouldn't hang permanently). After the last such hang, my computer couldn't boot for more than an hour, stopping at the initialization level. Do the developers have issues with "priorities"? The thread has nearly 4000 replies and 500,000 views, not to mention that most regular users don't even know about the existence of this forum, yet the devs are working on balance fixes and other crap, but not putting effort into really serious issues. I'm out of patience with this kind of treatment.

So today at 12:30pst they have the announcement video for the new patch followed by a livestream where they’ll be answering questions. If this patch doesn’t directly address this issue, I strongly recommend we ask in the livestream until we get an answer. Kindly of course, don’t be hateful and attack them or spam like crazy. Just make it known that you want an answer.

I will also be spamming this issue in the podcast, none of the upcoming changes matter because you cant even play the game. This is a much bigger issue that needs to be addressed first.

Well, I've seen several posts saying the multithreading optimizations they did increased the crashing rate, so this would seem to give a clue that its something to do with their code and the multithreading code they implement. This makes since because its a cross platform issue and should (if their programmers are bad at troubleshooting) be able to fix this damn code.

Is it only Windows 11 24H2??? Because i have Windows 10 22H2 and also have loading screen crashes from the beginning of early access. I have to hard reset my pc sadly.

I have been using POEUncrasher to get around this issue but it only lowers the amount of times it happens and prevents the full PC from locking up when it happens 9 times out of 10.

This has been going on since day 2 for me.

7800x3d, RTX 4090, 32gb 6000mhz DDR5 RAM, Asus B650 Prime, Windows 11,

Game located on nvme drive.
