Just to note , they totally ignored this issue during the patch live stream. They've completely ignored it since before Christmas , and I would say at this point they don't give a crap.

Well, after 30 days, I had to ask for a refund. My 3080TI burned out, and I tried everything to fix it, but it was just too much.

To everyone waiting for new nvidia patch to solve freeze/crashing issue.

ANd to everyone who CLAIMED IT WILL SOLVE problems.

I have already installed it, and it lags even harder in maps, and it still crashes as hard as usual, perma stunlocking your PC Into oblivion.

GGG should hire asap some competent programmers to study the code and fix the issue, this must be the issue number 1 on the list.

There are tens of thousands of people who have this issue with tiny minority coming to forums, and a majority simply uninstalles the game.

I think you are confusing a crash with a hard crash.

Crashes are acceptable for early access. They are not harmful to the hardware.

Hard crashes are not acceptable at any portion of an offered product. They are always harmful to the hardware with varying degrees, most basic is shortened component lifespan and most drastic is catastrophic failure (also known as bricking).

The most basic shortened component lifespan happens no matter what but there are some chances of avoiding catastrophic failure. Know that even the highest quality components cannot ensure full protection against results of incomplete shutdown.

That's why I ask anyone who encounters Path of Exile 2 Hard Crash to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam in a detailed and informative manner so that others be aware of the issue and so that we can fight against misinformation.
