"Many" is not the same as "everyone". That the problem is less common in those games means they didn't hit certain condition(s) so often as PoE 2 does. Sure, it's not completely identical situation but it happens in parallel shader compiling (or processing in general) time utilizing a lot of CPU power.

I don't think i have ever seen a PC crashing bug last so long in any game, ever. The quality of GGG has fallen to a new low. No backup, no failsafe etc. They have 1 guy for trade, so if he quits, trade site becomes dead. They didn't even care about people complaining when trade site was showing wrong exalt/div ratio. It was a fix which would take less than 1 min to implement, yet they didnt do that for half a month. That says a lot about how they see their playerbase. As Cash cows. Once they've taken the money from beta keys, they didnt care. As there was barely any mtx in shop, they knew people wont spend more money so they stopped caring. We will only see these bug fixes when they add new mtx'es.

Game is still freezing/crashing on start/loading screens. Absolute joke that they claimed to have "fixed" it. I am regretting spending money in this game and definitely will think twice before I ever give GGG more of my money.

It is also possible that PoE2 lacks an actual programmer with academic knowledge as a lead or ignored their expertise. If you let practical knowledge people have a free run then sooner or later you will encounter logic errors because they will always have some sort of blind spot in their knowledge.

Windows or Linux might have something that allow these hard crashes to happen, but not triggering them is the duty of the application that is running on them.

When your application needs an OS to run, you follow that OS' rules above your own ideas.

That's why I ask anyone who encounters Path of Exile 2 Hard Crash to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam in a detailed and informative manner so that others be aware of the issue and so that we can fight against misinformation and do not let faulty arguments like "Windows has a vulnerability that PoE2 exploits so the actual problem is Windows" spread.

issue is not only on PoE 2 but also on PoE1, before PoE 2 EA realse, so some thing taken from PoE1 and in PoE1 cause these crashes.

I really want play without random freeze of PC where I have to manually restart the PC beacsue even the Task manager or Ctrl + Alt + Del doesn't show up. that is how this bullshit is


I played Escape From Tarkov for past 2 weeks and knowing that game is horribly optimize and using a lots of CPU, they fix the full freeze in 2 days.
This issue is at least 1 month old (not including PoE1 here)/
