POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

As mentioned, if in the loading screen of a new map or area Multihreading would be deactivated and automaticalle activated after an area is loaded, this would be a workaround until the problem is possibly fixed.
Somehow the Multithreading of this game kills the PC with the Overload while trying to Load maps / areas, but runs smooth after it has been loaded. |

its getting to the point where I'm considering just getting a refund for this and going to play D4 or last epoch cause this has been an issue far longer then I thought it was and I'm tired of waiting to play the game.
that's not even trying to shit on the game because from what I have played I really enjoyed it but not being able to enjoy something I have paid for over a month is just really sad to see especially when they are pushing out updates and fixes that barely affect anyone or balance changes that would only be noticed by people with over 100 hour meta gaming the system while we cant even get past the log in screen in some cases is just really upsetting to see. if this was just some small issue barely affecting anyone then I could understand the wait for a fix but after 850 pages long combined worth of people complaining about it there should be more communication from the devs on this matter and not just some 'we assure you we still know of the problem please wait longer'. Please fix the Screen freeze when entering new map, its annoying when you need to restard your computer to solve the issue, and it hurt myu pc to force shut down too, FIX THIS ASAP DEV

I wish i could warn myself from the past (the one who spend days on this thread waiting for more details about the issue, or even the so called fix) That it's just waste of time..
Dangg i lost so much time coming here, even at New years eve and that entire week.. im still doing it for some reason, but a lot less thanks god. What makes it all worse, is that the game is FANTASTIC, it's a wonderful game, that gave me 200h of seemling stable INCREDIBLE gameplay, to suddenly start crashing non-stop.. so it's really a pain not being able to play.. If the game wasn't fun i wouldn't be so mad. It's like giving candy to your child then taking out violently, run away and say you will give it back at some point. Unfortunately all i can do is my best to forget about this game existence, so i don't feel the urge to play.. and wait. They may take a week to fix, 2 weeks.. or 3 months.. who knows at this point.. A user in this thread or in another mentioned that he copied it to a network drive, I thought I give it a try and I've done several maps now and it seems to not freeze anymore ( so far... )

Ok, so, nvivida control panel, not been long enough to tell for crashing thought the pause during loads for a split second i use to always get for years in poe1 and now 2 stopped and the games general framerate improved noticeably when i changed this.
Nvidia Control Panel Threaded optimizations to OFF instead of AUTO. if i dont crash in the next 24 hours let ya know |
