POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Unfortunately Poeuncrusher also couldn't save my game now.

From launch, stuck in loading screen into act 3 camp. Music keeps playing but unable to load into game successfully.

I really liked the game but now it has finally become unplayable to me.

Bought a new Ryzen CPU and I'm really scared to try the game again.

Lets be honest here GGG you have good game that people love. But it is unplayable for 50% of users is just concept. Your lack of communication end keep people informed for time frame to fix the issue is appalling. FIX the game!

I checked this thread recently, but what fixed for me since 1 month ago was swapping to vulgan, since then I plaed over 300 hours without any crash or issues.

POE Uncrasher didn’t do anything for me. Crashing has been happening since the release on my PC, which has a 24-core Intel and a GTX 4090. I also bought it for the Xbox Series X, and while it plays flawlessly, but the graphics are terrible on the xbox. Please save the game, GGG!

turn off multi-core support

Just wanted to share that I've been crashing relentlessly for about 2 weeks now. Went ahead and turned off my cosmetics and toggle engine multithreading off before I go to a load screen (back on while im mapping) and haven't crashed in days.

I know the issue is bigger than that but maybe this can help some people get to actually play the game.

Edit Update: 2 days straight no crashing, ive even tried spamming load screens with engine multithreading turned off and it does NOT crash.

Tried EVERYTHING in is world to stop this game from hard crashing my pc. Finally gave up and upgraded to a new $3000k pc.


Now, this game just crashed for the 2nd time, hardlocking my PC. Im not altering this computer just to play a broken game. They made ALL this money off of this and cant even stop a issue that is/could destroy computers.


I think uninstalling it at this point is the only safe bet. Not risking it anymore. GGG REALLY needs to make this a TOP priority.

Yeah I agree if I forget to turn off multithreading before loading a new map I risk locking up computer. I hope I don’t brick the machine.
