So it has come to this. With all the suggested guides to prevent from crashing, ive done it all. So instead of sacrificing my PC, i just have to stop playing until there is a fix. Spent hundreds of bucks in this game and still no fix. Yep same happening here. Will be OK for anywhere around 30-60 minutes, give or take, then freeze at a loading screen. Have to reboot PC.

I get this is Early Access -- but this is a CRITICAL, showstopping bug that is clearly more than one or two edge cases.

I would have thought the team would have been all over this ASAP... given, you know, it's happening to the VERY people who are supporting the game $$.

Hi everyone, I had lots of issues while trying to play the game but finally I manage to play it stable without crashes for hours (after trying almost everything I saw online), my specs are:

CPU: AMD 7700X
GPU: Nvidia RTX4090
SO: Win24H2

Requirements:

BES 1.8.0-test31 - link: mion.yosei.fi/BES/
zanepoe2-fix-crashes-exe.zip - link: nexusmods.com/pathofexile2/mods/9?tab=files

How to:

1º Create file named, for example: PoE2.bat

2º Add the lines:

echo "Starting PoE Limiters"
timeout 2
"C:\PATH_TO_BES_1.8.0-test31\BES.exe" "E:\PATH_TO_SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Path of Exile 2\PathOfExileSteam.exe" 15 -m | "C:\PATH_TO_zanepoe2-fix-crashes\zane_poe2_X3D_fix_crashes.exe"
timeout 2
exit

3º On Steam, go to PoE 2 -> Properties, then in GENERAL add to LAUNCH OPTIONS:
C:\PATH_TO_BATCHFILE_CREATED\PoE2.bat | %command%

4º Launch the game and play without worries

They don't want to draw more attention to the games biggest problem.

Its really frustrating. I have the same freezing problems with POE1 and POE2 with different Intel and AMD computers. Only solution for me was to disable Multithreading ingame, but that is not a solution. Would love to hear a statement from GGG, because there are tons of people with this issues and nothing has become better since Launch last year.

You're right... he admits to account sharing 24/7 paying chinese sweat labor and they don't ban him LOL

They did ban him...based on too high an APM (likely he, or his hired players, were using bots).

Saw the news article on it. Shouldn't be hard to find if you fancy a read.

The game is frustrating enough, but with this bug ... its gamebreaking for me. I cant play anymore its just not fun.
