POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

I can't even load into the character select screen sometimes. It is a good thing I'm running Uncrasher cause without it, my computer would be freezing. Every time a patch comes out I try to play and big surprise this game is still a huge mess.
This game was coded poorly and not tested at all. I think they literally just ran it on a single test computer and was like, it works, ship it. It has been 2 month and they have yet to release a stability patch for a huge number of players suffering from hard freezes. I want to point out Ubisoft had multiple games that were suffering a simple problem since 24h2 and Ubisoft patched the games to at least work. |

Is there any update on this issue? In single threaded mode, high density mob fights and sharede social towns make the game unplayable?
It has been on the high priority issues list since launch and I haven't heard a single update on it. |

The fact that this game breaking issue for so many is not solved yet and not even properly acknowledged by GGG is unbelievable.
The sad part is that I really enjoyed this game and I put 400+ hours in it already, despite at least 7-8 crashes every day when I played it (and yes, I tried every single 'workaround' mentioned here). Time to move on to other ARPGs...Good luck everyone and really hope this will eventually get fixed. |

Bump. Still happening about 5 times an hour. I have been using Process Lasso to avoid power cycling.

I understand everyone is pissed including myself.. could it somehow be possible that it is legit when they blamed 24h2? I mean this isn't happening much if not at all on 23h2 so I'm still more mad with Microsoft for giving us only 10 days to rollback to 23h2 and by the time i found out about 24h2 being buggy and freezing games and messing up audio, i was 2 months late. Its crazy, cause i kept searching forum after forum and no one ever mentioned that it was 24h2 being the culprit. I found it by accident in January of this year. there is actually a writeup from Microsoft saying that they are aware of audio issues as well in 24h2 and working on fixing it. Also one of the "fixes" for poe 2 supposedly is turning off multithreading in the settings (who is gonna keep remembering to do that all the time? I'm not..) to go through loading screens and then turn it back on after its done with the load.. So can't GGG implement something that would automatically uncheck multithreading as soon as you hit a loading screen and then automatically turn it back on afterwards?
