Hey Guys,
there has long been a solution for this, not from GGG but it solves the problem.
Download this:
https://mion.yosei.fi/BES/
Open BES.exe ->
Open Poe2 ->
Stay at the poe2 login screen and tab out ->
select “Target” for BES ->
select the poe2.exe and click “limit this” ->
click YES ->
pulls the slider down to -5% ->
done!
This solution solved the game for everyone on my discord - even if the game should freeze again the game can no longer go into complete lockup!
The freezes STILL happen with this software, less frequent but this is NO FIX.

Turning off multithreading worked for me. 9800x3d, 4080 super.
Start testing(7800x3d 4080s) and i feel its better, more time get knockout to login screen but dont get (yet) hard freeze.

I hope they are working on it, but since PoE1 also has/had this issue - I'm not so sure.
You are right obviously, and it's ok if these solutions are working for some people, but they are not working for everyone.

Yo, I'm pretty sure the problem is with w11 24h2
Because the complete PC freeze happened for me with PoE 2, Dragon's Dogma 2 and Stalker 2. But with PoE 2 it's extremely frequent. I've downgraded to Windows 10 and the problem no longer persist with all of the above game.

It is not a solution to limit your CPU. Most of the people aren't going to come here and complain about freezing - they are just going to uninstall the game.
I don't understand why people repeat the same gold "fixes" like this - we've already read this 1000 times, you don't need to repeat it once again.
We need a real fix from the developers, not this shit...
so if it's FIXED for me and my guys and we can play, it's still not a FIX? haha
even if it only works for 50% and helps it's better than just crying here without sense and understanding

No, its not. Some people here experience same hang ups on 23h2 and even on win10. Me on 23h2 too. Also I didn't hang up in stalker 2 or dragons dogma 2 on 24h2
