WRONG. The only fix will come from Microsoft. People in this thread still dont understand anything, yet it is simple to understand. The new CPU scheduler in 24h2 is bugged, or MS needs to revert it back to the old scheduler, to fix this.

Setting core affinity by -2 cores 100% works for the total PC freeze, so just PoE will crash.

WRONG. Setting core affinity by -2 cores does not 100% work for the the total PC freeze.

How is this still going? I already lost one memory after several crashes. It's unbearable.

You have problems to read it seems, like a lot of other people on here. Where did you get this wrong information from, that PoE1/2 is the only game on the market doing this? It is the complete opposite.

MOST modern games, or games with high CPU core (multithreading) utility will do this with 24h2 especially on Ryzen CPUs. Running Eve Online multibox, multiple Ubisoft games, just google Windows 24h2 freeze reddit/steam, and you will find HUNDREDS of posts for MULTIPLE games with the exact same issue.

Setting core affinity -2 cores PLUS disable SMT/HT in bios (you need to do both) WoNT FIX THIS, but causing the PC not to freeze, just PoE will crash, and you can restart the game. People just cant read properly in this thread. It is IMPORTANT that you disable REAL cores with affinity, not virtual SMT/HT cores this way.

If you want it get fixed, reinstall Windows 11 22h2 or 23h2.

2 characters stuck on Loading Screen bug.
So I created a third one! Now if it happens with this new one at least it will be correct!

The game kept freezing my pc before but happened like 2 out of 5 times I played and only on loading screens, but after the last update it freezes every time withing a couple of minutes and not just in loading screens. It's unplayable for me in this state, can't risk breaking my PC!
Specs: Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4080, 64gb of RAM, latest Windows version
