this same bug happened to me. I traveled back, interacted with the altar, and then at the bottom there is a button that says enter in progress trials or something to that effect.

Same issue for me. TP is visible but can't click it (also not shown on minimap).

ALright everyone,
I will clear this up. You CAN go back to continue the trial. Simply take the waypoint back to the trail, click on the altar, then select the next trail and click enter. It works. Its not a bug as far as I'm aware. TLDR: WAYPOINT TO THE TRAIL AND GO TO THE ALTAR AND CONTINUE. |

It just happened to me, it was the strenght trial and after the boss i came back to the city to store loot and when i tryed to came back it wasnt possible. No i can't do the trial, even if i go to the altar. It is the second trial, the one you gain from The Vile Twins

Damn. That's very unfortunate. I haven't done the second trial yet. Everything I mentioned was related to the first trial with the quest item.

Can confirm, if you teleport out of the trail you can use the waypoint and go back to trail of sekemah, where you click the altar and then resume progress.

people are conflating each others experiences. If you have NOT killed the last boss then you can resume the run after taking the waypoint ezpz

You just take the waypoint back to the underground Trials area and it should pickup where it left off.
