this is still an issue, and not fixed. Cannot go back and resume, as others have said, in some cases (second time it happens) going back to the altar asks you for another coin and starts over.

not fixed, happened just now.
Finished all the trials and the boss, used a portal to vendor, and now I cant click on the portal to return. That was my only Djinn that would provide ascendancy points and I fear I've lost that in addition to my items. total crap, worst part is it never gets fixed in a timely manner and we never get compensated |

Same here, i was in the last room and i used the tp before choosing ascendancy.
I can't use my portal and when i use the waypoint to go to the altair, i have to use a new token. I am speechless | |

You can use the waypoint and pick up where you left off, UNLESS you beat the boss and made it to the acendancy area, then you have to start the trials over, talk to the ghost again to restart

Today is February 8, 2025, and this is still an issue. I portaled out after defeating temporal boss to clear loot, and I could not portal back to the boss room. I am very sad that I have to do it again.

The bug still exist.KIlled The Boss ported to town to clear my bag - and thats it can't get back.Lost time - will need to do it again now.
