Giant's Blood + DW 2h Maces Lowering DPS
Running into a strange situation where dps is looking weird in skill screen, concerning giants blood and dual wielding 2h maces.
One Weapon only: https://i.imgur.com/X9zdlNA.jpeg Two Weapons: https://i.imgur.com/NSlKGnR.jpeg Now, I do understand that Slam skills get a -30% damage modifier for each weapon: https://i.imgur.com/A6f6TRt.png But wouldn't that leave the each weapon doing 70%, totaling up to 140% damage? I tried with 2 pretty similar dmg 2H maces.
With 1-mace my slam was hitting for around 1k and with dual-wield it's the same dmg except 30% less attack speed on the skill. so Giant's blood is 100% a downside with slams, no extra dmg only slower. Having a similar issue. Seems like its only calculating damage from the main hand weapon. Did some testing and its roughly a 30%-44% damage loss from duel wielding depending on the skill.
Only thing that seems to increase in damage with duel wielding is the base mace attack. Giant's Blood is only useul for a jank two handed mace and shield combo until they fix this. |

Can someone record some in-game tests please to clearly show it's bugged (not just tooltip numbers)? I'm aimed to take Giant's Blood in a few levels, if it's really bugged I just won't. I know some players use it and don't notice a thing.

i think giant's blood is for equip shield with a 2h for take bonus of shilds nodes on the tree and not for dual wield....

Tooltip is lying
i tested with earthshatter spike explosion dual welding (approximately 30% more damage) ![]() one hand ![]() same behavior for earthquake explosion |

I have also seen that 1h or DW nodes on the tree actually increase the damage, and 2h nodes on the tree do not.
Are we sure that the 30% increase in damage isnt just a crit? it should be around a 40% increase in damage no? |
