I'm not coming back to PoE2 until some major changes happen

Personally I have two DIFFERENT requirement for coming back to the game, both being balance issues with the passive tree that result in multiple classes underperforming.

-Improve the passive tree so that there are more nodes for specific damage types(outside of witch/sorc) or nodes for weapon specific mechanics(for example there are almost no slam nodes), also DoT nodes ONLY exist for "ailments" when we really need some more generic DoT nodes that work on ground DoTs or on non-ailment debuffs like contagion or currupted blood.

-Improve the passive tree with regards to non-ES and non-recoup recovery, the witch/sorc should not be the tankiest class in the game, yet she is due to being the only one that gets decent recovery on tree in the form of ES/Recoup. The other forms of recovery should be at least of similar power.


My issue is not the hard bosses - but that the game seems opposed to me being creative with my builds. I do not have enough options in the tree to do things I want to do in PoE2, as opposed to PoE1 where I had too many options but at least had enough to make a build.

Someone didn't watch the Dev stream where they explained campaign was cut out for early access in exchange for more endgame development.

I totally agree. The game is good, but there is some serious issue that make the game not enjoyable. I think that all the class are not very balanced and the leveling experience can be drastically different depending on the class you choose. Which is not good of course.

Playing in melee is just a joke.

There is no reason to make a game that was already challenging even more annoying challenging. This game in its current state wont beat out Last Epoch.

- Better, shorter map layout throughout the campaign. I feel like act 1 is ok when it comes to map size, even though when you get unlucky, you can get stuck in there for a bit aswell, since it's never really obvious where you need to go. I feel like the campaign could be have as long with better maps and still feel fine to play.


In terms of general act design areas, the thing we miss is navigation entities, imho. so if you know you know. a cant say im fan of current system. there things far more concerning to me.
They will make the campaign maps smaller, just like they did in poe1 by removing zones once there was more content.
