Why POE2’s Direction Is Worrying for Veterans and Newcomers Alike

Agree on everything especially crafting.End game progression for better gear is extremely bad right now.Crafting?seem like gambling(too much) to me.Compared to POE1,yes its still RNG but even some of its content is RNG but at least you have the power to control something with many option.You also have crafting bench too.The high-end crafting also not risk vs reward enough to the point that "If you buy gear from the trade site,Its better than crafting yourself".

And about the pace,if the reward is high enough to compensate the slow of the game then I am fine with slow or fast.But for the current state of the game?Well...gotta go fast.Game is still in EA so thanks for feedback.

yea the gem system is clunky

after the interview it seems like every single decision and direction is decided by Johnathan. like every decision is not "what will players like the most", but instead "what does Johnathan like the most". so its like why even provide feedback at all because Johnathan wont find it fun and therefore wont change anything.

0.2.0d update:

-disappointed about the "melee < ranged" point (from latest Interview), but won't Break the experience (RIP D2 Barb/Paladin tank fantasy)
-hoping the "end-game" changes it up from PoE1 more (as much as possible...)...and also hope it doesn't degrade to zoom-zoom-1-shot. (need more time on this for 0.2+ [0.3])
-hoping the "test of cowardice" (Ascendency) can be changed.
-trying out Spear/Thorns (Kitava) for 0.2. (outstanding)
-stick to the vision, GGG.
