Exp on the bar is something that you already earned. You Earned it by killing enemies in the map. It is in your pocket. It is yours! When something that is your is taken from you without you agreeing to it , that is Theft/Stealing. By definition!

All the Extra content on the map that you haven't done yet, gets Deleted upon death. That is the Penalty for dying in said map. That is Not Stealing.

It is pretty simple when you think about it just a tiny bit.

You did hit accept when you started up game. You 'did' log into said game, with said rules... You accepted 'game rules'. Use your fucking brain.

what you're saying is actually the result of the lack of thinking. if you drop your keys into the sewers, the sewers didn't steal your keys, its you who lose your keys because you can't be bothered being cautious or having protocols to never let such happen.

Not sure i follow...? If you mean me.. im not even remotely worked up. I think this guy is hilarious with his completely ridiculous take on 'the game steals from me...".

The game absolutely steals the player's exp away. That's just a fact. And nobody hit "accept" on any rules when they log into the game lol, you accept potential character deletion if you play on HC. But I don't expect a game's easiest mode, Softcore to actually be Mediumcore in disguise.

If exp loss is such an important part of the game why isn't it in the campaign? Weird how people can still have fun there without this pointless time-wasting mechanic.
