Find Out about Patch 0.1.1 on January 12th PST

Looking forward to the Patch 0.1.1 announcement! 🚀 It's great to see that the devs are actively addressing issues and engaging with the community through the podcast. 🎧👾 I’ll definitely be tuning in to hear about the fixes and updates, and I’m excited to see what’s coming next. It’s always awesome when the team gives us insight into their plans and responds to our feedback. 🤞

Anyone else got some burning questions they hope get answered? 🔥🎤

Here’s a few I’m hoping they address:

Endgame difficulty balance: Will there be adjustments to the extreme one-shot mechanics and the overall difficulty spikes that some players are finding frustrating? ⚔️💥

Crafting & SSF issues: Is there any way to make crafting more rewarding, especially for SSF players who are getting stuck due to RNG? 🤞🔮

Progression system tweaks: Will the map modifiers and XP penalties be re-evaluated to make progression smoother, especially in high-level content? 🗺️📈

Trade system: Any plans to make trading less tedious and more rewarding, or introduce alternatives for those who prefer a single-player experience? 💸🔄

Quality of life improvements: Will we see some changes to the interface or QoL updates to improve navigation and clarity in endgame progression? 🧭🖥️

Let’s hope these issues get some attention, but I’m sure there will be plenty of other important topics discussed too! 👀

How did a major problem like this even make it into the game? Were people just not thinking? Was there pressure to rush early access? Did the team not even play the game and just test if things would "move on screen"?

If so, fix that first or we'll just be running into problems throughout EA and into release.


You just said it yourself, “early access”. That’s the reason. It is unfinished, untested (to an extent), imbalanced.

Also, these types of games always struggle to find the sweet spot.
Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please introduce tab upgrade to Quads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a terrible reason. If a dev thinks, you know what I like...gardening. Let's throw in gardening as a requirement for progression. Just because it's early access doesn't make it an excuse for not putting in proper thought to game systems.

Early access shouldn't be a "let's throw everything at the wall and see what sticks". There should be some sort of thought and direction for decisions.

I agree with you and just wanted to say unfortunately a lot of these ideas were probably what they wanted to put in PoE 1 but they knew the users would throw a tantrum (myself included) so they put it here to see what sticks to a much broader audience.

Also a reason why Ruthless was made BTW.
