Been playing PoE since 2013, no regrets. I'm not worried about PoE 1, you'll give it the attention it deserves as you're able. Good luck with everyone else though >_>

awful, Poe2 very different, I Love PoE1, I dont want Poe2. Poe1 is regular game, Poe2 is only for fun - soulslike is very annnoying play it for days, weeks, months, years in my opinion

" There have been MANY things in the recent past that thwart your statement: - the former head of GGG, Chris Wilson, sold the company - he was aware of the risks that resolve for both GGG and their games - he took the money, left the studio and went dark - GGG's will to listen to the community stopped, when Wilson was fighting for his 'ruthless vision' several years ago and the community clearly pointed out this is not what they want - PoE2 is the groundup manifestation of that 'ruthless vision', that STILL is not what the community wants The old boss sold the company, took the money and he didn't care about what the results for backers will be. I can't understand how this old story of 'GGG listening to the community' still exists. It's from a time ten years ago. I kindly ask you to acknowlegde what changed since then. |

Disappointing
POE2 is "nice" but POE1 is the bread and butter. I was waiting for the new league because POE2 is boring to me. This was a major ball drop. Yes POE2 has more #s but it wont hold and I think a lot of POE2 players would play a POE1 league boosting its numbers a lot. POE2 has not just a lot of work to do. It has fundamental systems that are just unfun for me. One Portal VERY limited builds VERY unbalanced classes pore end game "Map" system No item crafting at all It lacks a TON of what makes POE1 such a great game. I would suggest you move devs onto POE1 now. You will start emerging players. |

Time to move on to other games. Guys vote with your wallet. GGG don't care about POE 1 players, us. Don't support them and go play other games.

Now the best course of action would be mass refunds for everything we bought to support poe1. If there is no more poe1 (constant lying and postponing doesn't really assure me that league will be anytime soon, and even then we could get something they did "over night" just to extinguish the fire) there is no need to support it anymore. Surely won't support the current trash poe2 is right now.
Just refund everything we spent and then go lie to someone else. |

" It was a few months in December last year, it's gonna take at least a few more months before they consider maybe starting to work on the next league which will, at best, be launched six months from now. To all Path Of Exile players this says "thanks for all your support over the years, but you no longer matter". So, yeah, people are rightly pissed off. |

Did blizzard continued development of Starcraft 2 after of Starcraft 3 got released ? Did EA Sports kept updating FIFA 2024 when FIFA 2025 got released ? Did Street Fitghter 5 got updates after Street Fitgher 6 got released ?! Just move on people, it's just a business decision, it's the same everywhere in the gaming industry and GGG is no exception. Business wise, it makes no sense to update the old iterations of the game, because all of your best resources needs to move to the new project. That's the circle of a game's life. Did you seriously thought that POE 1 would continue to live for the next 10 years at the same time as POE 2 ? LOL Wake up folks !! POE 1 will die a slow death, it's inevitable. |
