And they can and will also fail from time to time.. the important part is that they own up to it instead of just making excuses all the time..

I can't agree with this at all. The last "Message to POE1 players" was the first time in many years I have seen them F^&KUP colossally - if this was any other commercial product the project manager would be kicked out to orbit. It is taught in management 101 to have a plan which they clearly abandoned for POE1.
They didn't own up to anything, they just said "OK we have been busted, January is over, no new content, bunch of excuses and maybes."

This was the reason for fan backlash, not that they need to work on POE2 but the huge MIScommunication about it.

Now let them make it up, put out something fresh... but I hope they get back on track with normal communication and hopefully some good league after this .
