Update on Path of Exile 1

YAAAAAAY finally some events and it's not endless delve, endless heist, endless uber lab:)

I wouldn't even mind endless uber lab after PoE2 ascendancies

Reminder to the still angry ppl.
1. Nothing will change if you still remain angry.
2. The event is the reaction to the angrgy community so win-win?

PM to GGG: I would test druid in PoE if it would happen to replace templar or marauder ascendancy:)

Great to know we have some POE1 content

When is the POE1 game director going to resume passionately championing for future expansions?

Will this be on console or do you still deny our existence?

Nah, the community is still angry about their decision to bail POE1 but also aware that what GGG's making with this event is because of the community voice.
This is better than nothing and although this is a small step toward normality, it is still a step.
We still hope that after this event ends, the 3.26 details will be available for us.

This is an excellent summation of the situation.

Did the massive backlash surprise and shock GG into reviewing their position? Absolutely.

Is it as good as a proper league? Not by a long shot, but at least it has the capacity to be something interesting, distracting and hopefully fun.

Is all forgiven for GG? Not even close. Consumer trust is built over time with consistent actions, and easily broken when they intentionally deceive the customer. Compounding that issue was releasing a statement that was utterly insulting. It's going to take a very long time and lots of genuine effort to even start to rebuild that trust.

So I am looking forward to something new to play. But it will be a very long time before I consider spending any more money with GG. They're going to have to earn it, and I mean really earn it.

Please just let it run until 3.26. If it is not played you can still stop this event early.
Or plan another release. We love your game and resets and events are awesome. We can still live on Legacy events for years.
