State of Early Access Update
|
You have the full statistics of the situation, this is more of a question than a suggestion.
The aim of poe2 is only targeting new player base? A lot of the design decisions seem quite off for the already loyal players, is this intended? The need for a big patch to balance the game/attract back the player base is a must but is following the poe1 approach to success applicable in the current state of poe2? Keeping all the content for the big patch seems like unnecessary considering the game is not a "finished product". Pretty sure, most people still playing are hopping for something like 80% for the big patch, 20% immediate changes. I mean a full 3-4 month league of this ...... feels so bad!!!! Doesn't need to be much, 1-2 new uniques (t0), some rebalancing of the existing numbers, even if it breaks most builds, who cares? Also is the current state of benches the intent? How is "tedious" better than it was before in poe1 with vendor recipes? Are you happy with the state of crafting without alts and scours? Is the player base? PS: Playing the game without harvest res change - this was the best feature ever imo. |

When will melee get swords and axes? Will there be new skills added for these weapons?

Making a mechanic more tedious doesn't make it meaningful.
REMOVE THE INFINITE MAP SYSTEM AND GIVE US ACTUAL CRAFTING, NOT RNG SIMULATOR. it was ironic that you guys said you focused more on the endgame yet the campaign was a far better experience than endgame. It's so tedious to set up towers for 30mins-1hour just to have the intended endgame experience. not to mention the insufferable maps you would encounter while mapping to towers (Vaal Factory, Vaal Foundry, Augury, and Mire). It also doesn't help that you spend all of those hours just to have a RNG drop. First you have the rng barricade of the ILVL, then you get rng barricade of Item type, then you have to think about RNG barricade of prefixes (imagine getting a shitty prefix with the highest lvl in tiers, now that item isn't "craftable"), and vice versa for suffixes. THERE IS NO REAL CRAFTING. ARPG DOESN'T MEAN RNG DROPS, CAN WE ACTUALLY GET A REAL CRAFTING MECHANICS IN GAME WHERE WE GET A GUARANTEED FOR WHAT WE WANT TO HAVE IN EXCHANGE OF OUR TIME SPENT IN OUR GAME. I am pretty sure I speak for the majority when I say that WE WOULD RATHER HAVE A CRAFTING WHERE IT GUARANTEES THE MOD THAT WE WANT IN EXCHANGE OF MORE HOURS SPENT TO ACHIEVE THAT MOD THAN A CRAFTING MECHANIC WHERE IT ROLLS ITEM MODS LIKE YOU'RE IN A LOTTERY RAFFLE. IT ALSO DOESN'T HELP THAT OMENS ARE SO RARE THAT IT COST SO MUCH THAT IT'S NOT WORTH ON USING IF YOU'RE NOT TRYING TO MAKE A MIRROR ITEM. So again GGG, scratch the infinite map system and renew the current crafting system those are the major thing why alot of people are quitting because like as I said earlier MAKING SOMETHING MORE TEDIOUS DOESN'T MAKE IT MORE MEANINGFUL AND FUN.. I hope you really understand what the playerbase wants and not what you guys think are right. I have really enjoyed POE2 and have 600 hours. Until some changes happen on the map system and crafting I will not be back as I already know how the endgame will be, thanks for the game and I hope you guys make the right decisions :) | |

The devs have no clue what to do and are happy to share that with us. Well done, GGG.

We wouldn't need waypoints if maps were smaller and/or we didn't need to kill all the rares to complete the map. Just put map bosses as the objective again.

Loved the campaign and mechanics, felt powerful and at times realized I needed to improve build. That said, endgame is horrible in comparison. Citadels nowhere to be found and my character is lvl 91. If you die in map, all is lost and especially harsh since experience barely builds with completion of a map. Spend over an hour (level 4) on trial of sekhemas to only die and get absolutely nothing. Now with newest update don't even get to see the boons/afflictions etc. Rituals placed in narrow intersections with tornado or blood waves and nowhere to move. Uniques are useless and no dopamine when dropped because you know it is only a shard to become a chance orb. Not even sell/trade worthy, as people won't even buy it for 1 ex. Also, no real loot to upgrade yourself and only way to upgrade gear is to trade for it and hopefully get response from seller. Add you can buy items from store and still not have it in game and the GGG won't respond to forum post or message sent, as they have requested to direct to support or the lack there of. Basically $$$ down the drain! I was very into this game and now feel like it is wasted time that I would rather not.

144 thousand playing now. Most of them are bots to do RMT. It's sad to see that GGG not only leaves this rubbish market the way it is, but loves bots and RMT, just to inflate its number of players. Ignored several serious problems and this EA is a big piece of shit.
I've already lost hope that GGG is what it said it is and keeps all the promises it made about POE2. This company just made a shitty game, full of bad mechanics that they insist on continuing. It's even worse to see people defending GGG, which didn't deliver on anything it promised and didn't do anything to improve the game's serious problems. I give up on this game and everything that comes from this greedy company, which to this day encourages bots and RMT with this archaic market, easy to manipulate and doesn't have the courage to create a system that puts an end to all this shit. Does GGG profit from this? [Removed by Support] Последняя редакция: Vinky_GGG#0000. Время: 9 февр. 2025 г., 20:23:17

I think I am about done with this game and with GGG. This post just shows how pathetic management is. You made this post for your ego and gave ZERO insight as to what's to come or your vision for the future of this game. All you did was boast about the half ass changes you made.
Your support is outright trash and the post you made about how much you cleared up seems to be complete BS too! I have been waiting over 2 months for a reply, I am convinced you just send a copy/paste and then delete the email thread. Your game is massively broken and instead of fixing it, you're pandering to people who already quit playing the game. You're so afraid to break peoples builds, so you're going to continue allowing people to quit the game because it sucks in the state it is in. You would rather add checkpoints instead of fixing the maps themselves. To make that worse, the checkpoints are useless 90% of the time. You added "towers" that aren't even towers!!!! Crafting, don't think I need to beat that dead horse any more than it is. You have done NOTHING about the bots and scammers, instead you banned the people who got hacked due to YOUR incompetence and have done nothing to make it right by them. They are still locked out of their accounts. At this point, GGG is setting themselves up for a lawsuit. I get that it is impossible to stop the bots, but doing nothing about them is unacceptable. Don't dare RMT from those bots though, then you'll get a nice ban. |

What i see from the comments so far :
- a lot of people who are basically trolls. Coming here to speak bad about GGG and say they leaving the game, hoping that they will do some impact over the real players. NO YOU WILL NOT. To all others who may not like somethings : - POE2 can be not the perfect game so far BUT THIS IS A EARLY ACCESS in 2 months only !!! What you expect? You compared POE which is on more than a decade game with a game on 2 months. Do you actually understand this ? I can say that i am playing the game every day for few hours as many others people too and i Love it. As i am watching now: they are 120 000 people only on STEAM plus maybe another 100k maybe even more, so in total more than 220k people which are playing and having fun. Who don`t like it, can come after 1 year when the game will be polished. Who want to actually help the GGG to fix the game, can play now and be a tester like all of us, give actually feedback to devs and move on. That`s it. Peace. |

Dear GGG,
It has come to my attention that you have removed the hard crash issue from the Known Issues. Unfortunately, the hard crashes are still happening. Because they were not a Windows 11 24H2 issue. You can check the last messages from the two main hard crash threads with over 9000 posts or Steam discussions to see that the crashes are not fixed. Could you please inform the developer team that the hard crashes are still happening? It has been 2 months now... Why isn't GGG accepting this is not a Windows 11 24H2 issue? I wish it was a Windows 11 24H2 issue. That way I wouldn't be here. I mean this "more general" hard crash is definitely harder to fix but the other one, the loading screen hard crash? We know what triggers it, we know how it can be avoided. Why can't GGG just go through each line of code that interacts with scene changes and once they catch the tail of the dragon there they can slowly work from that point to fix the hard crashes. In addition GGG support loves banning me for asking these questions but I must ask them because they are not answering them at all. The support mail does not work. I emailed them at the start, yet not one single reply back other than someone asking me my account name, something I have provided in the first mail... Once that was answered there was only silence though... So once again I'm bumping with these questions, in hopes that maybe they will get answered by GGG's official staff: 1) What went wrong? 2) What you are doing to fix it? 3) What possible causes have you eliminated as the source of the problem? 4) What triggers have you discovered that starts the resource hog loop other than "zone change"? (This one is really important because it allows players to create workarounds) 5) What is your estimated time of fix? 6) How did this sort of bug managed to avoid detection in your testing period? 7) What you will be doing to compensate players that have been affected by this issue? 8) Whether refunds would be made available for those that are no longer interested in playing the game? To other paying customers like me who have spent their money on this faulty product: As long as GGG is not interested in open communication our only other option is to increase the pressure and warn others by giving a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam in a detailed and informative manner. I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do: 1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad. 2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review. 3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there. |
