Announcing the First Path of Exile 2 Race Event

disappointing in so many levels...

1: PoE 2 currently is bad... and unfun
2: looks like you still have not figured out that rarity of items found is 1 of the reasons the game is bad..

So don’t play it and play POE 1 event. Not that hard. Meanwhile non POE 1 players can play this. Why throw a fit about it? Either play it or don’t. All yall do is complain about how bad 2 is over 1 so just got play 1.

My game crashes every other map. I hOpE i CaN bE cOmPeTiTiVe.

Cool! But I see no point in participating myself if it only has prizes for the 1st in each class. Gonna watch a streamer though.

Speedrunning event with only one reward for the first ....mmmm seems like impossible challenge if you do'nt prepare yourself well and find all glitch and way to goes well without loose time while trading and such , i dunno how feel people who know who never have this loot in the first event of poe 2 but i ll participate for fun but i can forget the challenge one

I can safely say... on each of these days, I will just log into PoE 1 and actually have fun.

No way am I going to participate in a "race", when the reality is unless your job is to play 12 hours of PoE a day, you have little chance of winning...

Agreed with the other sentiments. I thought this was going to be something that brings the community together but it's like a lukewarm spectator sport. With how incredible some of the top players' knowledge is of the game, I can't imagine anyone who hasn't dedicated excessive amounts of time will get anything out of this event.

I'll sit this one out, but the prize looks great and it's cool that it's a rotating event that will piece together a DEMIGOD armor set. The prize truly fits the challenge. Good luck to anyone who participates.


Edit: one thing I'm thinking about is if this is going to be largely a spectator sport, there could be a system in place where people can tie themselves to a racer and if the racer wins, everyone on the team gets a "winners circle" prize.
