Apologies for the inconvenience! Linux users are being incorrectly flagged, we're working on a fix for this currently. You are able to continue through the warning and play as usual.

Just got this as well, running PoE2 through Steam on Arch Linux (desktop), Proton Experimental, no custom launch options
| |
Same here. Debian 12 + wine after new patch
|

On Win10 + Steam and naturedly, NEVER use cheats...!
So why we have this message after the 0.1.1F Update????? |

I'll add to the pile.
It's happening on 0.1.1f, using the current Proton Experimental from Valve. On Debian testing (Trixie). No special startup command, no special gfx drivers apart the stock mesa. While GGG investigate why this is happening, it would be great to get some Linux optimization love because as per my previous post, playing on Linux is a pain even with the best computer rig possible (ryzen 9 7950X3D, 64GB ram, AMD RX 7900 XTX). Stutters I do not get in other AAA in ultra. |

I can confirm the same popup. Logging in a second time does not show the same popup and I'm in without any apparent ban so far.
I'm running Kubuntu Linux. Ryzen 5 5600x and RTX 3060 Ti, but that probably doesn't matter. My guess is something in the Proton layer. |

" Yeah I'm running a measly, poor 5950X with my 7900 XTX at 1440 ultrawide and my framerate occasionally hits 20, which is pretty rough. |

I know you're working on it, but this is hurtful.
I just want to play this game to distract myself from the horrible, harmful things happening in the real world, but when I do I'm accused of doing something harmful myself. Why can't anyone who forces the implementation of any anti-cheat function ever be more thoughtful? Some project manager or executive says "put EAC on it" and there goes some poor developer but they don't bother enabling the Linux runtime. Some project manager or executive says "put cheat detection on it" and there goes some poor developer forced to write in an allow/deny filter that can't hope to accommodate anything other than Windows users. You make me literally sick. I'm just going to go lie back down and succumb to my goddamn depression. |
