Dawn of the Hunt Map Portals Clarification

This is based. This system is even better than what I was imagining it would be!

Now the only thing I'm wanting is the ability to go back to a pinnacle fight after disconnect even if you died once already, though hopefully the crash "hotfix" mentioned in the Q&A is going to solve this problem!
This seems like a over complicated way of fixing something that never needed changed. The 6 portal system is fine. Losing all of your loot cause you die once on a juiced map is still going to suck. PoE2 still has monsters that will randomly one shot you.i hate getting punished for a random death like that. If I wanted to play hard-core I would.
How about tunning the maps down for what your build can take? if you are juicing it up too much and can't handle its not the game fault
Now we need a beautifully drawn map device for just one portal.

So tired of the "random one shot" excuse.
If you die you either got hit by something you shouldn't or you made the map too hard for your character. Risk vs reward.

This is not "Hello Kitty Online", deaths should have consequences. Deal with it.
can we have at least 2 portals at max mods? it would make the game 1000 times better for me , there is still time , just one more portal .
So the places where unlucky deaths are most probable (6 mods red maps) still have 1 attempt?

1 death maps shouldn't be a thing in a game with online connection and servers periodically crashing, as sel las client.

If that’s your intention, why not just place an NPC in every map so players don’t have to constantly teleport back and forth to sell items?

Ideally, faster gold generation shouldn’t result in more Alva orb flipping, like in the current league, where players can use their gold at Alva NPC to flip same currency back and forth aquiring much faster currency than by farming maps.
(eg. buy regals orbs for exalted then sell back the regals for double the exalted)


Tbh selling a quadrilion rares to NPS instead of just just going is simply not worth it.
You spending lots of time for meaningless amount of gold.
So i dont think it will affect anything in that regard.
how about making us return to either the last use of the portal or checkpoint, whichever happened last? is this possible? that'd be the best option imo
