Well, I like a game that has it's difficulties all the way through. I don't want this game to be easy at any point... I'm don't want it to bend me over but I don't want it to feel "easy" either. It's like the old JRPGs back in the day, the boss is wrecking you? Go run around in the grass and grind exp out for levels... sometimes you just gotta grind either gear or levels to advance.

Apparently they've already put out buffs and I'm all for it. I just want the game to have it's challenges and if people get filtered out because they can't hang... I think that's a good thing for the game, GGG might not be and you'll more than likely get a much easier leveling process the further we get into early access.

Also I'm a vet myself and I am 100% okay with doing the grind at times in acts, I get that you feel a certain way, but you speak for only you.


Filtering out 80% of players before the game turns into easy mode just makes no sense. Pretty much all the feedback I read back in 0.1 was that act 2-3 normal was the hardest the game ever was for most people. That is just ass backwards. It should be a ramp in difficulty as you progress, not just a gutpunch off the bat, then PoE1 lite after you have access to gear and abilities/passives.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying...

I am okay with them toning it down, except on bosses, I just don't want them to tone it down to the point of no or minimal challenge at all... but I do believe we need to get gut punched sometimes.
