Game freeze with map reset

Same thing happening to me. Also using nvidia latest drivers and ran 0.1 without any issues.

Yep same here.. hopefully someone can shed some more light on this or a fix
+1 - 3080ti, also if this happens while fighting strongbox mobs it doesn't recognize it as being completed

++Same issue, exactly. Thank you for posting this. New since the recent update. I'd say I'm getting it every 2-3 areas. The screen freezes, 10 seconds later, gears, then back up. Sometimes my minimap progress is saved, sometimes its like I haven't explored at all (but my checkpoints are still active).

Every time I boot the game up it loads in and I can select my character and then as soon as the loading screen pops up with the cogs spinning the game always crashes right then and there. My game never crashed when 0.2d game out only when the new 0.2e patch came out. I even tried the config "renderer_type=Directx12" change, but it still doesn't work. Hopefully this gets fixed soon? I don't really know if it's Nvdia's or GGG's issue, or maybe both. Cheers!

This is a diff issue... I've seen people downloading the poeuncrasher 3rd party software to help with loading by disabled first 2 cpu cores. Some people throttle their P cores in BIOS to 50 and also try enabling legacy gaming mode in BIOs under CPU.
This is happening to me since this update was released too. I didn't have this behavior before this update. I also didn't really have any issues with crashes before this update either. These are my specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core Processor
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
NVIDIA Driver Version: 572.83
MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7E12)

For me the behavior seems to be:
1. Something triggers it
2. Game locks up for 5ish seconds
3. Screen goes black and shows loading icon
4. Game reloads but my map fog of war is reset

bumping for visibility, happens every 5-10 minutes for me. I'm also on an NVIDIA card. EVGA RTX 3080 on the latest drivers.
I'm experiencing the same issue. This occurs in almost every new instance at least once. Currently on 3070ti
