New patch G won't make a difference, change my mind

Glad MF is gone. Too many people were spoiled by its returns.

And now they think its less loot.

Just like people thinking there are no builds for sorc because archmage is gone.

So many people humbled by .2

I don't think MF is gone... from what I understand, MF means more currency and uniques. While less MF means more items in general. Especially white items.

GGG sadly thinks MORE loot is what we want, when in reality we want more VIABLE loot. It doesn't have to be perfect every time, but if i play 4-500 hours and never find 1 item worth upgrading. it's not worth it.

Last league I found 40 divines through playing and selling 2-3 divine things from sekhemas. and I got lucky with one corrupt bow and made 80div on that. that's it. So I had to trade for everything

Trade doesn't bother me so much. Except that a 1 mirror item can be 10x more powerful than say, a 10div item. It's just nuts the difference.
+1

Being showered in divine and exalts is the wrong approach and will just inflate prices. What needs to happen is to having more high tier rare drop. Not tier2, not tier 3, but at least tier 4 when you already invest so much into tablets, waystone, atlas and the respective mechanic you are playing. They are so adamant in keeping the current casino-slot jesus take the wheel style of crafting, and justifying it for "making ground loots matter". So then how about actually doing that ? Doing making ground loots actually matter, making people to want to see blue or rare items instead of hiding most of them in loot filter ?

Start by making high tier gears dropping more often in high tier maps when players investing in waystone / atlas / tables, start by working on regoneninator into recombinator, start by incentivizing players to actually consume their currency orbs to craft their gears and get meaningful progress from it instead of treating is as currency for trade, start by cutting low tier modifiers and useless modifier that certainly being put in to dilute the pool in high item level gears so they are actually matters, start by walking away from designing the game around itemization / character building / trading and start to actually designing the game for action and combat.

Recombining 2 high tier mods is fine with low chance, but its not fine when already win the gamble, THEN HAVE TO GAMBLE again with exalt slams.

As they said in the notes:

The first improvement is around Loot drops. The three main changes you can expect around this is to first mitigate unlucky streaks from bosses in the campaign by raising the floor of the quality of their drops. The second is to increase the quality of drops from bosses overall, and the third is to improve the drops from monsters possessed by Azmerian Wisps.

What this means is "you'll see more rares from these creatures" but what that just means is even more horrible t1 rares that drop.

Even if they are "tier 5" the odds of it being of use is still about 0%

You'll see a ring with evasion, mana regen, +20es, cast speed and physical damage to attacks

it'll make still nothing of use. and this is why
Last Epoch and Diablo are winning among most people.

Killing a boss and getting a cruddy tier 8 random mixed nothing drop is still that, just cruddy.

UPDATE: LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE
It's not QUANTITY we want, it's gameplay and quality. Loot doesn't have to be class based in my opinion, always thought that felt unnatural. But if 100s of hours brings me zero upgrades with out trading. Then the game is the vision you wanted.

"
A start...theres so much more problems to address (armor, crafting, trials, atlas layout, RNG mechanics)

This game doesn't have crafting, it has scratch tickets. And generally you get a dollar here and there. only 1 in 5k people get the 50,000 winner.

This game isn't about skill, but rather, luck.

their focus is CAMPAIGN... not your tier 5 drop. They are focusing where 90% of the players play before they even think on other balances.
you're not listening
