Build diversity is one of the many concerns people have with the direction of the game right now, there are many skill interactions that do not make sense, like requiring certain weapons in order to use seemingly unrelated skills. But the major concern is how soul crushingly limiting it is to only have one of each support gem, though Gemling can use more. Early days, but unless they start listening to the majority of the playerbase the future of PoE 2 is bleak indeed. |

Yes it is restrictive in that degree I won't deny it. I personally enjoy figuring out what combos work but I guess different strokes different folks. |

"Has two reasons. Herald of Thunder only triggers if you kill an enemy with attack damage, and, more importantly, even if it would be coded as an "attack" - thorns are not considered "Hits" made by your character. [Removed by Support]

" Sure there are multiple skill interactions that dont make sense and a lot of skill should have multiple weapon options to bring more diversity, however with the current gem/skill design i do think they have to restrict the use of multiple copies of the same support gems in some way. Having 9 fully linked skills using the same support gems would be even worse desing than the current. Another thing that limits the build diversity is the lack of build enabling uniques and item interactions like we have in poe 1, but i think at some point in the future patches we will see more of these. The things i feel right now that kills the fun for people is the length of the campign, obviously the loot , atlas tree feeling uselesss, endgame not where it needs to be and the balance needs a lot more work. One thing i really dont understand is, we have heard multiple times during development that they wanted a slower game with a focus on using multiple skills and combo's, so why do they still have mechanichs like breach, delirium etc. which favours only one playstyle (omegafast 1 button clearspeed). It kind of makes me feel like this game has an identity crisis, everyone know that time based mechanics only favours ultra fast chars and forces a certain playstyle/meta on people Последняя редакция: MrPedez#4934. " I think why its that way is because GGG is in uncharted territory and have a vision of what this new type of gameplay looks like. They've been working on POE 1 for 10 years and coming into POE 2 trying something new is going to be a lot of bumps and fails. People just need to cut them some slack and let them cook. |
