Let's all vote 0.2.0g out of 10.
" If the effect of something is reduced, you need more of it to continue having the same effect. Hence, item rarity on gear will become more important, not less. And did you read the bullet-pointed "g" patch notes? What part of any of the following says item rarity on gear is less important? None of it. You are literally going to want item rarity on every possible gear slot. You even admit it yourself: move and kill as quickly as you can with as much rarity as you can. " |

3/10 No difference in loot, it's still terrible and game runs even worse now. Strongboxes still drop zero loot a bunch of the time. It seems like this update did nothing but add more lag to the game. I guess it's back to Diablo 4 until the next patch that'll most likely do nothing to improve the game.

" I've read both the patch notes and the "item changes" post, which seems to be a clarification on the patch notes. Rarity on gear is only mentioned in the "item changes" post (unless I missed it). The way I understood it is that ggg buffed baseline rarity, which would make IIR on gear too strong if it wasn't toned down. So basically now you'll have more loot even with less IIR on gear. " Indeed, eventually you'll want lots of damage, movespeed and rarity. But most players burn out long before that point. For those who can grind for longer, IIR at least gives some way to continue improving their character. |
