Well... If they are would add an auction house for real, league life span will be shortened by few times.

" People afraid of putting basic mechanic onto the game, that should've been there since the very begin... The league life will HAVE LIFE! Nobody is playing due to all sorts of inconvenients, such as AH. |

" Market would be overflowed by loot, people would get a decent gear by few clicks... and voila! MOST players wont continue to play, cause their limit was already achieved. I know some people who dropped the game just after they are bought their "build". Последняя редакция: PantsuFaust#0269. Время: 9 мая 2025 г., 14:44:03

" I mean. Most people aren't playing now. |

Game was succesfull without auction house for years. Maybe, because loot was meaningful, unlike some other ARPGs.

" If the only reason the game is alive is because of an archaic and absurd "trading system" that relies on an external website and then hoping people aren't AFK, then the game is in massive trouble. The idea that moving to a trading system that isn't from the early 90s would somehow kill the game is comically absurd. Like you're literally saying that if trading didn't suck so much that more people did it, the game would die. If that were actually true, then the real problem is trade itself, not that it's a pain to use. |

" This isn't even an argument. Not going to enter on the topic of it being successful or not as there's no reason to, but: First, this isn't poe1, please understand this already. They're two different games. Second, just because poe1 players endured playing without AH "for years" doesn't mean poe2 players also should. Third, the game being successful without AH literally means nothing, unless you're telling me people played the game because there was no AH, which I would believe there were probably some. As far as I know, there was no Alva-equivalent on poe1 until some time ago either, but I don't see people complaining about Alva. As for loot being meaningful... I think I must have played a different game when I did play poe1, because the crafting system there when I did play the game pretty much made loot meaningless to me. The trade being garbage didn't make it harder for me to get good gear if I didn't want to craft either. Arguably, it made gearing even easier because I can use tons of filters to get the exact item I wanted to. So I'm not sure where the meaningful loot was, I must have missed it Последняя редакция: iHiems#0168. Время: 9 мая 2025 г., 18:02:50

Average players need not play. there are only those that are good and those that need to get gud. The community continual reminds players to get Gud. Thus, the statemen Get Gud , stands the test of time.

Current trade is garbage. Nothing to do with being average or not. Im on console and it's almost insufferable.
The only people who like it are bots and trader because they get to take advantage of people on the current trade. Loading screens and having to manually put in each stat on each item to price check is rediculous. I just guess and if it doesn't sell after a while it gets scrapped. No way am I suffering that garbage time sink every single item I pick up. |
