Trials need to be removed from the game.

I like them, especially Sekhema. It's good to have content that requires skillful decisions. But perhaps that's what you lack.

Agreed!

There is no skill in it period.
I stopped playing because they exist, I wont be back till they are gone.

There is absolutely nothing fun about this content.

Nobody liked them in PoE1.

Nobody likes them here.

I would literally rather pay money to not have to do this content then to actually do it.

Pulling levers and touching crystal for an hour while spamming dodge roll isn't fun. It's stupid and tedious.

Dying from corrupted blood after you've killed a boss isn't fun. It's stupid.

Picking how you want to make your character weaker isn't fun. It's stupid.

Having to do 3 or 4 floors or 7 or 10 trials for over an hour is mind-numbingly boring, tedious, and stupid.

If people are selling services for this content, that means the content is bad and people don't like doing it.

Here's an idea:

Sekhamas: 1 floor, different boss at the end of the floor depending on what difficulty of the barya token.

Chaos: 3 trials, different boss at the end of the trial depending on the difficulty of the ultimatum token.

Clean, easy, not-so-painful, you don't feel like you've wasted all your time when some bullshit one shots you an hour in.

No, I do not agree with you. Asking the dev to remove the trials is a bad idea.

There are many people out there that have completed their trials. If you google for help, you can find articles and youtube showing walkthroughs and guides and tips and trick on how to do trials.

It is dismaying to see people asking the dev to remove something from the game when the players encounter the challenges and difficulties in the game. I do not know what's wrong with the mentality of some of these players? There seems to be something wrong with this current era of players who cannot face up to challenges and difficulties. It seems like what these people want is an easy fix, an easy way out, without putting in the effort and hard work to achieve the objective.

There is no such things as asking the dev to remove a feature when you find the game is too challenging and difficult.

There is no such things as you go to school to study and you find the exam is too difficult and then you ask the panel of examiners to lower difficulty of the exam questions so that you can pass the exams.

There is no such things as you go for job interviews and you find that you are unqualified for job and then you ask the company to lower expectations of the job requirements so that you can get hired for the job.

The players in general should just learn the game and learn how to play the game. Please stop asking to remove this and remove that from the game. Otherwise you should just leave the game and go play something else.

Where did I say the content is too difficult?

Pretty sure the point is that it's stupid, tedious, and unfun.

Seems like reading comprehension and imaginary thoughts is a bigger issue, because no where in my short paragraph did I say the word "difficult" once, but I did repeat the words "stupid", "tedious", and "not fun" around a dozen times, and you still didn't get the message.

I'm going to spend my afternoon at the DMV to talk to the clerk about the weather instead, a trial just as interesting and engaging
Just de-couple them from the ascendancies and have them be what they've always been meant to be. A niche side-content for people who enjoy rougelikes.

What's the point? The ascendancy is easy enough to get.

If there's no challenge of content through the leveling phase then a below average gamer or super casual is worse off anyway through complete lack of care of build and mechanics.
Agreed, not fun, only frustrating.
I don't think they need to be removed. Yet they certainly aren't "skillful".

The only element I don't like is what I refer to as "platform mechanics". Stuff back in the day you would have found in your average console game that PC Gamers avoided like the plague. Then you see various version forced into PC games with largely negative reactions and dismay by the Devs as to why people that were expecting one type of game were irritated, they had introduced another.

Yet even those can be totally bypassed with the right skill selection that requires zero player skill. Going back to there is nothing skillful about it. I mean there is obviously a difference in using a certain "skill" as opposed to doing something because you have "skills" lol... Of course you don't have to use that "skill" and bypass the stuff either.

I had issues at first in the original league because I don't play these kinds of games. So when you are totally new you don't know what to pick and why. Or at least what is easier.
