Leagues should be "Events" and Standard should be the focus for building characters

I contributed, and articulated my point thoroughly and calmly. If they didnt want discourse in threads, they would have removed the ability for people to reply to them. You dont have to agree with me, i dont agree with you. The game is setup this way intentionally, if they decide to change it, it will be up to them. It wont be determined by further back and forth between you, and I. Youve made your point clear, and so have I. Time for us both to move on. Rage posting isnt going to solve your issues.
Poe2 generally is more slow vs poe 1, then or leagues must be longer (at least 6 month) or must reworked totally. Starting a new every 4 month is a pain, when you even don't close all the content from earlier league (I'm not "Ilon" who close all league content in a week with strange Asian ip).

Idea to introduce "new leagues" in early access is even worse.
a league is an event, one that's celebrated with exclusive 'event' content.

what are we even talking about here.
I will keep playing Standard. I refuse to farm for items that I haven't seen in 8 months playing, but with no currency and starting from zero.
I understand this is how they try to squish some cash from players and how they get people hyped, but it is an obvius disrespecful move to the players.

I will keep farming in standard for the items that they introduced in the game that only have 0.000001% to drop and I have only seen in trade.

By the way: people playing leagues won't lose a thing from people from standard getting the same content. I won't play leagues even if I don't get the content. Why are y'all so angry about this request? Selfish people are incredibly absurd.

Having any kind of issue with leagues is just autism (actually, not just saying that). Getting all hung up on this idea that "my stuff is getting lost" is just a hangup that people get but it has no real practical grounding in reality. This is not an MMO (and even if it was, MMO's have the exact same kind of seasons, except that the level reset is mitigated).

You don't "come back" to an ARPG character because the amount of content and progression is just not meaningful enough to make it actually relevant. There is no reason to come back to your standard character unless you just stopped playing because you got bored, and replaying again on a new character takes literally 1 day to get back where you were, but now with a fresh new paint to it, new skills, changes, and mechanics.

The truth is that you just need to get over it because this is just all in your head and your mind set.
So what do you call people that oppose Standard getting concurrent releases? Why can't they just "get over it"?

I proposed a 2 week delay earlier ITT as a compromise. That would address any of those perceived issues. As for 'balancing' for Standard, which is not my goal, if the devs leave a Legacy item in Standard then that means it isn't a problem. True issues (Temporalis letting players Blink with every server tick) get patched ASAP. Concurrent release would improve GGG's ability to detect such heinous issues, before they ever became a problem in League.


prob not a problem for server stability, but its clearly not balanced since it was changed. if you would take OP proposition seriously you would actually agree that legacy items should not exist. but i don't think this thread nor any other is about access to content.
