For people having FPS-Issues
I was closely following all the suggestions you have made. Thanks for everyone contributing here.
The above stated things regarding Resizeable Bar (AMD: Smart Access Memory, nVidia might refer to this as "Clever Access Memory") is what fixed most of my issues or atleast it "feels" like it does. I have my Rig for like 2 years now. And i remember times where PoE 2 did in fact run kinda good. But somehow the resizeable bar was not activated for my System. I have read that nVidia disabled this feature on default so i think a driver update in the past just disabled this at some point. This video has helped me immensely: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DqcgHtkm9I It explains everything, from enabling ReBAR in your BIOS to checking if your hard drive is formatted correctly and finally activating the ReBAR option in your GPU Control panel. Most of the modern systems can just run it so don't be discouraged and just check out the video and try. It sounds like a lot of work but it's not. I still have the problem that my FPS drop to around 30-40 in very clumped Abyss areas on full juiced maps, mostly with Deli on it and every league mechanic you can imagine. That's still not an excuse for PoE 2 to perform this bad but i am just over the fact that this game has issues nobody of us can fix. For most of the gameplay it runs buttersmooth now and i can keep my FPS at my locked value of 90 when there are no Abyss + Wisps + Deli and other things clumped in one place. I hope you guys can find the one solution that helps you best at maintaining stable FPS for some good grind! Have a nice weekend, Fumaaz0n |

Just wanted to say a quick Thank You. Following the steps has improved my POE2 life immensely. Went from crashing/cogwheeling in at least 8 out of 10 maps and being afraid that my PC might explode to basically no more freezes and massive performance increase and inner calm regarding the health of my computer. Thanks again, think this topic should be stickied tbh.

Its really ridiculous how bad the performance of this game is. Even with a high-end PC its a stuttering gaming experience. Not even talking about how the game reacts to unstable pings. Playing in a public Wifi? Impossible because instable ping leads to endless stuttering.
I really hope GGG starts to optimize those issues soon. Wiping at a boss because of a frozen screen is a very bad experience and I am not sure if I am willing to take this any longer. |

The real solution here and lets be honest are devs giving a damn fk about optimizing their game.. this game will become bloated with mechanics as time goes by that optimization will no longer be possible.

did all of this. still the same issues. shaders still streaming. got a fix for shaders loading all during a map run? didn't think so.
