I have the same issue. Tried twice, no hammer drop.

Same bug. Interestlingly, only happened after quest was done second time with diffrent charecter. First time (in couch COOP) hammer droped and quest was fine

Can confirm the same. I did online coop with 3 others, worked fine. Tried it a few times solo, on a new character, no drop.

Just happened to me as well also tried restarting going back in. And still no hammer
