How did the community opinion shift so hard in a single patch?

Before everyone was complaining that the game is too hard and too slow, people complained before this patch that everything got nerfed, this nerfed, that nerfed...

Now people are complaining that its too easy.

It makes no sense, how did the overall opinion shift so hard from direction into the other, the changes were not THAT big

We have the gear, but there’s nothing to do with it. That’s why the game feels easy. The endgame doesn’t really exist right now.

Well, I think that probably is the main issue that leads to this sentiment.

But it's also just the way the PoE community is.
It bugged me for a long time, but it is what it is.
Best to really not take most people and their takes on the game serious at all.

The crafting options we got this league made making really good items much easier.

It's almost like the internet isn't one person. Crazy, right?

I've been hearing "it's too easy/it's too hard" since 0.1.

Well there are some parts of the game that seem much easier than they used to. Perhaps for me that's because of playing through that more than a few times.

This patch there are certainly more variations on builds that make things "too easy".

Mapping still gets boring super fast regardless of zooming through it or not. Doesn't matter if maps are hard or easy... it's just boring. 90% of maps having temporal chains is stupid, but with certain builds you can negate that entirely... but there is no build that makes maps entertaining for more than part of a day.

Everyone and their grandmother is playing the elite meta build: Lightning arrow Deadeye. From their perspective this might not even be a game anymore, everything dies in an instant. The good old GGG "balance' at work.

The main thing that changed is which people are being loud.

It's not the same people making both complaints.

Crafting is letting people make mirror tier gear. There's a lot of GG items going for around 5-20 divs in the league. In Standard (0.1+0.2 items), those items are listed for a mirror+ or don't even exist.

Who cares democracy?
