How did the community opinion shift so hard in a single patch?
It's because of the powerful crafting.
GG items are plentiful and the ease of trade has increased the trade velocity even more to the point where GG items are easily acquired. Lots of people can do more content because they have better gear. You can even get things much easier in ssf. I can see the crafting getting nerfed after this season. Reminds me of scourge league in poe1. |

Crafting is fine.
Its complicated enough that most dont do it. Tbh it still needs a little work , but there is at least something in the template of the game for people to craft , that is critical . Also in SSF it doesn't matter you need to be able to craft gear. I would balance it out by deleting the in game vendors ... im actually serious there , their only role would be breaking down items or selling consumables. The game got better. There is still work . I know why the maps start to feel boring. Im struggling to articulate it but much is the extended floor plan . If for instance , the center of the map was a swampy marsh , with desert in the north and a dense forest in the south , lighting effect changes from fog to harsh light in the north .. You would be ok .. The art selection being consistent color , scheme and repeating elements, give rise to the feeling of standing still, even though you are moving. It gets borring because your brain is no longer engaged, it is not identifying and classifying .... it is going left click left click right click , repeat , repeat, etc. The brain rebels .... = bored. Also better use of contrast to highlight where player can go. The path edges in outdoor maps are not clear enough. They should try multi tier levels with some areas only accessible via teleports. Offering views into inaccessible areas . The run and push a button to open the door across the map and then push another ... NEVER DO THAT! Последняя редакция: Jitter912#4278. " Simple, they overnerfed the game and overbuffed players. I saw this coming from a mile away when they said next patch will "focus on buffing players". No, items are not the issue. If the game is too easy with good items, then the game is too easy, period. The game should be balanced around having the best items and still moderately difficult even with them. It has been said a thousand times, but it's darn hard to balance a game centred around combat, when enemies and not least players can do enormous amounts of damage per second, but our life pool is a tiny fraction. One (big) hit and you're dead, with zero chance to even register what happened. From one frame to the next. This was a major problem in poe1, and it's both sad and amazing that they have repeated the same design flaw in poe2.

" No it's not. Play a caster, kite enemies. Literally perma-invincible as a caster because for some reason you can cast spells while moving but can't use melee attacks while moving?!?!?!? The game is a joke. |

Dont think it has Same people that hate* the game still do. People that struggle at melee still do. People that struggle outside of ES still do. People that cant make any currency still do. *Multiple threads about why things are unfair for them. Just remember its the forums. Its 99.999999% complaints.
