Armor won't save you against elemental dmg especially elemental adapt is now 2%. Maybe life nodes will be weaker, but there ar eno changes for flat life. You will need to stack more flat life than now, coz you won't be able to get too much % increase. And also armor still won't help against some really hard hitters in % increased dmg maps. " think about it HP wont be that viable anymore BUT armor will, The price will plummet because of thoughts like this by people that are willing to give up their Kaom's in favor of Armor, but then skyrocket again once people realize that HP is still fundamentally the same, and that the passive decreases are at least partially compensated by the enemy damage reduction. The thing is, HP is not fundamentally the same. Armor reduction is scaled based on how much damage monsters do, so the harder they hit, the less effective your armor is. We don't have exact numbers but it is blatantly obvious that armor will be MUCH more effective after the patch. Kaoms will still be good for certain builds. Working as intended. ...? Funny how people assume that after 4 months without kaom's (in the new leagues) players will not have figured any other way of surviving efficiently without that unique. Added to which, they might add new uniques in these leagues that are just as good, who knows. In that case, the value of that item will most likely drop. However if there is some kind of PvP patch anytime soon, people may flock back to the permanent leagues to play with their twinked characters, in which case kaom could go up.
