Yes, spells can and do hit, just like other skills. The reason Life Gain on Hit doesn't apply to spells is because it explicitly says it applies to enemies hit by attacks, not because spells don't hit. They do.

Blind does not effect spells, however spells can still blind. The Blind support page says that Blind will not effect spells. It does not say Spells can not cause Blind.

That is, if you are blinded your spells will still always hit. If an enemy is blinded their spells will still always hit. Blind does not effect a spells chance to hit because spells always hit.

However, this does not mean that spells can't cause a monster to be blinded. Many of the spell skills can hit and cause on-hit effects. Your posts state:

1. Spells do not hit
2. Spells can not blind

Both of these are wrong.
