No seriously, that's why. The change was to provide a drawback to a no-brainer node. That drawback is that you're not getting your dex multiplier. Which means that you're literally converting your evasion gear to armor gear.

except they also have hp and damage from strength and Acc is junk anyway due to resolute technique being easily accessible to Str builds
