Trying to chance Soul Taker - A little journey log

Hey there.

As I'm currently a bit tired of grinding maps without a specific goal ahead I thought why not try and put some effort into chancing Soul Taker?

Yes...this will be very expensive, nor am I expecting to chance it < 5000 chance orbs :P

"You could just simply buy it for X exalted" I hear you say but where's the fun in that? :)

So the purpose of this thread is to take you with me on this little journey, I'll post the results in batches of 50-100 chance orbs until I've reached my goal, starting today.

Mind you, I'm not a rich player so updates might be a bit slow, depending on how much time and currency I can get :)

If you want to help, I'm trading fusings/chaos for chance orbs.

I'll give you 1 fusing for 4 or 1 chaos for 8 chance orbs.

Careful, OP. Chances are gateway orbs. Pretty soon you'll end up like me. Believe me, I've been down that path. You don't want to go there.

i used 300-400 orbs to get an soul taker

Oh I saw that thread the other day, I recall.

No worries, I'm having fun doing this, not expecting any wonders out of it.
If it happens that I waste 5000 chance orbs and not get a Soul Taker, so be it, I'm more about the journey :D

I'm still gearing my main, farming maps, leveling alts, doing this and that.. so this is just a little side project to put the chance orbs to good use :)

But I'll keep it in mind! :)

Do you chance+scour or just chance all the siege axes you find?

I have been chancing all glorious/occulist/siege/murderer/chain belt(70+) since OB started, I was also buying chance orbs all that time to be able to chance every glorious/occulist I found. So far the only thing I chcanced is Infernal mantle... Sux a lot guess I spent more than 1500 chances..

Go for it, both me and my friend got in within the hundred.

Just chancing all the whites I find farming Docks and Maps :)
It's 1-2 white Siege Axes per run, I also find 1-2 Orb of Chance per run on average, so it evens itself out quite nicely. That is with around 150 IIQ, solo.
