I wanted to tryout POE, but the graphic detered me away
lol..i am not sad about not having chance to get a betakey..I am now busy with GW2 and D3, but after looking at the screenshot of POE, the physical objects and graphic just look so unnatural....maybe I am wrong because I haven't tried the beta yet,

You have not tried the game....but you choose to troll the board with comments about graphics? Well played sir/maam.

" Well done in offending the community, criticising a game without any experience of the game is just unthoughtful. As for the beta key, I know you want one too. |

I enjoy both games for what they offer, now poe is a great start and i hope it does very well, i play it for the deep skill tree and character design, it probably wont ever have the graphics that d3 has, but i do hope that this poe aesthetic will change somewhat because all the dungeons seem exactly the same and there needs to be more stuff in the aesthetic besides just the rock like feel, there needs to be much more elements in place, even diablo 2 had more then just the grungy look they added much more.

" Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed D3. But am I the only one that thinks that D3's graphics sucked? Not because it's cartoony, but because 90% of the game is 2D computer airbrush. |

" I dont know, but the graphics are smooth and while sometimes cartoony not as toony as say tl2 but it was just the right touch of graphics, d3 still has its lore and story and all the stuff to do theres still so much to doin d3, there is detail in the d3 graphics little things that make it fun. Such as all the destructble content, also areas that you travel in d3 are far and take awhile, as for poe i found the areas too be short and onlything to even click on are chests and a few crates. Like i said i love poe for the character variaty builds, and gems ofcourse, it does remind me alot of d2 wich i spent many years on. |

I honestly do not understand the frequent comparison between POE and Diabl0 3. One is funded by one of the biggest companies around and the other by an indie developer. POE is doing great when you consider the resources from which they have to develop the project. Give GGG the tools Blizzard has and I bet POE wouldnt even need to be compared by fan bois from either side of the fence.
