Agreed, mate. Its absurd. The global chat on this game seems to have D3 in every 3rd post. Maybe I'm just cheap, but even if D3 was generally accepted to be a great game POE would still be the winner for me based solely on the price and crappy customer service issues that D3 has. That's even disregarding the fact that I prefer POE's style and direction more. I've never played D3, but that's mostly due to the cost of entry. Videos of D3 got me interested in the genre, but I've never bothered with D3 when TL2 and POE are such obvious choices.

The only thing PoE needs asap is a less clunkier combat system but the devs already mentioned theres is no money for that atm. I just find the combat very slow and unresponsive atm especially in the earlier parts.

Honestly, I think the graphics in POE are far better than D3's from a technical standpoint. The major difference is the lack of a physics engine in POE. If it had that, it would blow D3 out of the water in every possible way except the storytelling aspect, which is really not that important in an arpg (imo)

The graphics are good, it´s not so an comic feel like other games. This game looks adult and fine as it is.

Eh, i spent quite a bit of time with Hitman and Sleeping Dogs getting as much performance out of my GTX 570 as i can. It can be fun to mess around with graphics of high end games.

yeah on this kind of games i think graphics matters a lot, but in a hack and slay? i mean graphics are important for sure but only when it not costs gameplay.
