I am having trouble sustaining es with my setup, I am not sure what I have done wrong.

I currently have 988 life and 8400 energy shield at level 77. I have not taken Quick recovery yet because Energy from within jewels are 2.5 ex and are not within my budget.

I've been playing this build on a trickster with no Shav's ring and it's quite efficient so far. Level 87 running up to t11 maps (highest i have) with no issues.
Energy shield is still on the low for now, need to upgrade my shield from Rotp to a nice 500+ es shield with dot mod.

Is is it worth going for the shav's ring? I've not felt the need for more regen so far and was wondering if it's better to go for a massive shield or the shav's ring.

The point of Shav's Revelation is to respec some Lifereg out of the tree to get Auranodes for Grace. Yes, it it worth it.

Doing this build now on LHC at what level you think I should start using RF ? I will have shavs ring / doryanis etc ready.

EDIT: as trickster, also thinking about skill tree dropping explosive impact and getting templar AoE nodes along with Precision and Sanctity what u think`?

You are also using the wrong passivetree for your Tricksterversion.

Not worth.

How so not worth? Kinda helps getting extra strength / dex. also more AS for shield charge/wb PogChamp. Little less damage and es but a bit more aoe.

Also vertex vs hubris with enchant? Purity in +3 unset ring? worth?

if you put purity of fire in a +3 unset ring, you are losing out on the other potential stats on the ring, also with changing from using discipline in vertex along side the purity you are also missing out on +1 to +5 to discipline which is a lot of ES, which then again i guess you could gain back if you got a really high ES helm

EDIT ----

NOTE i am probably biased as i like The Vertex, as it increases the level of discipline due to the +1 to discipline and +1 to empower, also the chaos resistance is nice

Come to think of it a good ES helm with say 400-450 Es and a level 4 empower may be better

NOTE,
* All below assumes Discipline level 21 and assuming you are getting 48% increased effect of Non-Curse Auras you Cast
** All the total values below, are just the total of the helms ES and the Discipline ES, they do not take into account the % increased maximum Energy Shield from your tree or gems

The vertex assuming it gives 350 es:


Rare Helm with 400 ES:


Rare Helm with 450 ES:


From the above calculations i believe that once you get a level 3 empower, and level 21 purity of fire or a level 4 empower and level 20 purity of fire, then you are able to switch to a 400 or better ES helm
