Hi Guys,

I followed the build and using the same tree as Yalani, but still when I am using RF my ES is droping very fast. So dont have enough regen somehow.

Anyone can see where it goes wrong in my build?

Remove that useless 0.3% life regenerated/s, you dont need both... "Influence" is one of the most important nodes to make your build work.

First, great job with the guide. Looks very professional, a lot of options are covered, and I did have a lot of fun tinkering with these builds so far.

I did start on a Trickster, currently lvl 94 following the guide pretty much 100%. On Path of Building, it looks like this:



Mostly selffound and/or selfcrafted, so some pieces of gear might seem a little bit off. Tried to work in a rare shield, but that would need some more regen nodes and/or a legacy Shavs ring, which I don't quite want to invest in for now. So still using Phoenix.

Anyway, I am a pretty new player starting in Legacy League, and this was my first character, that felt really powerful, and made me try the endgame content including Shaper, Uber Atziri and the likes. Well, turns out, I wasn't quite ready for that, as my attempts at both of these have failed miserably so far. Other stuff like all the Guardians, regular Aziri, Uber Lab/Izaro don't seem problematic at all.

Since you have made pretty clear, that Trickster gets you a higher clearspeed in maps, but Guardian is better for bosses, I am now trying a Guardian instead, currently at 80-ish:



I immediately noticed the much higher regeneration, which did allow me to go with a rare shield pretty much from the start. Also by not needing Shavs ring, I could easily fit in 2 somewhat usable opal rings.

However, I noticed, that Path of Building was giving me way lower DPS numbers, when extrapolating the passive tree to 95-ish. Trickster with the setup before moving the gear to the Guardian got about 260k DPS, while Guardian with kinda the same gear extrapolated to 95 with all the relevant passives was only reaching about 150k, even with the way higher ES values from rare shield and dps boost from opal rings. Is this to be expected, or am I doing something wrong here? I mean, I get that Guardian gets weaker damage compared to Trickster, according to your rating. But I assumed it would be maybe something like 20% less, and you could compensate by gearing more offensively, not that you only get about half the damage even after gearing more offensively.

Should I even bother with the Guardian at this point? Or just get better at the respective fight mechanics and keep using the Trickster? For Shaper specifically, the Trickster felt like it was lacking damage, I could not finish the phases before the entire area was filling up with the blue balls. A swap to a Guardian with maybe 60% of the damage would only increase that problem, right?

I have about 285K DPS according to PoB with my Guardian. I still haven't done Uber Atziri or Shaper but I feel like its more me than my character.

My profile is public, so don't know what are you talking about. My tree has some minor changes because of the gear I have. Basically I removed 1 mana reservation node and took str node instead of 6% ES, since I'm using shaper's gloves. 30 str gave me a bit more.

Not sure what's the problem with your guardian since we can't even see your characters.. Anyway, my guardian hits about 356411.6 DoT DPS(+2 curses and unbuffed) at only level 93 w/o GG items and such. Also, I'm using SR instead of shield charge on my chest(I used Shield Charge when i had only a 5L) coz my guardian has zero benefit from the ascendancy skill points unlike Trickster. With both SR+RF(They complement each other really well), i can reach about 786762 DPS (8 stages and unbuffed) according to POB. It's POB after all, so take it with a grain of salt. Plus, I'm too lazy to find it out every single time since I usually tweak this build quite often. Long story short, you can import my new account (It's a new account after over 2 years not playing it and my younger bro is currently in possession of my old account lul) onto your POB and see it yourself. Oh, also you can't use lightning warp with this build unless with 2 unset rings. I can swap to a 6L RF whenever i want to run MF gears (eg: 2 Ventors, Bisco, Goldwyrm, Sadima and perandus blazon, Item quantity/Item rarity gems). There's so much things you can do with guardian unlike trickster BECAUSE you have to use either shavs ring or unique shield to make it work. I have 15926ES with doryani and 17375ES with Ephemeral Edge, oh well it's still level 93.

After playinh around with PoB (Path of Building) at 116 points at the tree with a guardian and without ephemeral edge or an es shield (doryanis and RotP) the toon has like 13k es and the effective dot dps i get from the calculations is like 1.6mil.....seems if they go with those changes (not counting pantheon or any new uniques or whatever boosts es)it seems like they dropped the tankiness of es for us but boosted the dps like crazy

So, love the build and all, but I imagine it won't be as good in 3.0. What changes do you think will happen, what's the estimated ES loss for the builds?
