[2.6] Yalani's Low Life Righteous Fire Build

Well, the build is coming a long nicely. Level 91 atm.
Made some upgrades to rings, and better gloves.

Currently sitting at 18.3k ES with Doryani's, and 19.8 with Ephemeral Edge.

How do you guys calculate your RF dps? I'd like to give that a try, and see how far I get.

So far clear speed is super good up to T15. Haven't tried T16/Shaper/Uber Atziri yet, but will soon. Think my gear is good enough.

Still trying to get commandment of light enchant on gloves. Must have done 15 dual enchant runs, but no luck. This one must be rare :-(

I lvled to 34 with flame totem and firestorm.

From 34 and up low life RF with the advise from below vid. lvling was super fast.

I leveled with flame golems with primordial jewels and golem weaps. Not only it was fun but easy also.

What kind of mess are your gems? My setup was:
6: shield charge - curse on hit - fortify - elemental weakness - inc critical strikes - faster attacks + witchfire for vulnerability
4: RF + sups
4: blood magic 21 - enlighten 4 - purity of ice 20 - vitality 21 (this allows you to take 1 less mana reserved node)
4: empower 4 - enlighten 3 - purity of fire 20 - discipline 21 (in shaper's touch +1 gems)
3: CWDT - stone golem - enduring cry
3: purity of lightning 20 - inc duration 21 or 23% qual - vaal disc

I think, it's much better setup for mapping. You surely don't need two vaal discs, I barely used 1 even. You don't need clarity for anything, you can easily run 3 purities and never run out of mana. Don't forget these also give you +4% max res @ 20 lvl, which is very nice.

Having RF setup in RF hubris (essence of horror) is much better, giving u an opportunity for shaper's gloves, which can also be corrupted for that extra +1 gems or vuln if you prefer that. Shaper's gave me 2,5k more ES than 260 ES rares and 30 str node gave me more than 6% ES.

You need MS boots. Guardian just feels terrible without them.

Inc duration on max fire res potion is nice.

The gem setup was taken from the guardian setup of on page 1, though I did make some small changes.
- I don't like the CoH setup with shield charge. It covers a small area, and Shield charge has crap accuracy. Hence the blasphemy for more reliable cursing and faster mapping. Also, I feel the need for the Orb of storms in there, because shield charge is far to unreliable to get EO working on bosses.
- Blood magic 21 + enlighten 4 is good advise! I will keep that in mind. For now I'm kinda short on currency though.
- Getting a good ES roll helmet with that essence is hard as hell, and very currency intensive. So no option for me atm. Also kinda need my current gloves, since they have the added cold to attacks.
- Don't really feel the need for 3 purities when mapping. Everything dies as fast as I can shield charge over them. Will swap in the right purities for though rolled maps with hard hitting bosses.
- Stone golem and enduring cry I don't really feel the need for. I'd rather have at least 1 vaal discipline. Helps me run maps with double mods that limit regen like vulnerability + -max. Also just to be save I activate 1 during a boss fight. Though it's mostly not required.
- Moovespeed would indeed be nice on boots, but too expensive for me atm. I mostly just shield charge, and keep double MS rolled flask up.
- Clarity is not used for mana. It's just a free aura that costs barely nothing to reserve, and gives another buff for Unwavering Faith.
- You're also right about the fire potion. Need to get one with inc duration!

May I ask how much ES you had on your setup with/without Doryani's? I could get another 400ES by switching my opal for a Moonstone ring, but I feel that's not worth it. The Opal rings add a ton of damage.

I uploaded my build into Path of Building to see my dps.
354k with Inc AOE + Witchfire + Sulphur
545k with Conc. + Witchfire + Sulphur
Not using Vinktar, though it would add a ton more deeps.

Experimented a bit with higher ES rings and Ephemeral Edge, versus about 2k-ish lower ES, but using Doryani's, and 2 opal rings. The latter gives a very substantial boost in dps. 281k vs 354.

There's a couple things you can do to add more dps:
- Equip a Doryani's Catalyst (132% inc ele damage)
- Get Opal rings with %fire damage (up to 60% extra damage each)
- Start using Elemental Equilibrium for -50 fire res to enemies. You'd need another ring though, because it adds fire damage to attacks.
- Use Witchfire Brew. Up to 70% inc D0T, and lvl 21 vulnerability aura....yes please. Also, saves you a gem slot.
- Using shield charge to proc curses is less reliable than using blasphemy, and withfire brew. Since Shield charge hits have lower aoe, and in my case, Shield charge only has a 56% chance to hit.
- Don't see any orb of storms to proc EO in your setup. That's way better for bosses. For map clear link shield charge with Inc. Crit chance.

That's about it.

So far tested all setups in standard since i have more gear options there....so far for me at least....Since i killed shaper at lvl 89 :P the best dps setup for up to t16s(not shaper) is doryani's weapon 2 opal rings and 4link setup in the delirium gloves .....the 30% more damage outweights the damage gained from the extra es u get (shapers gloves give u more effective life)....the ms in boots as a guardian is not needed since u can spec in the warcry passive from guardian and have enduring cry always up thus gaining the ms and ias buff (making the ms in boots not needed)....So to summarize....Doryanis weapon 2 opal rings delirium gloves high es helm and high es shield high es boots and preferably a good es belt since the unique belt falls after getting a good crystal belt....Also i got the setup to blasphemy 2 curses and save a flask instead of using a witchfire.....Now if u want to kill shaper what i did was to replace one blasphemy and get purity of ice running since the most dangerous attacks of shaper are cold based.....The reason i like this build and will play it again and a gain as a guardian is the possibilities u have playing around with setups....U can go ham with damage and still get enough es to run t16s....or u can go full tank mode and farm shaper .....Uber atziri is a bit trickier cause u actually have to dodge things (shaper was mostly facetanked and yes even the slam :P)...So i would stick to yalanis gearing guide and adapt accordingly to the situation....If u want to farm shaped strands (if this will be the case for 3.0) 10k es and full dps gear is more than enough...been doing it in beta so far with no issues....If u want to farm t16s adjust accordingly and so on.....Much love for this build and will continue playing it as i said :) Happy to answer any question that im able to of course :)

Hi, first of all i'll say you ty for thath great guide. i really diden't know rf and it help me understand the mecanics ( i came back to the game after a long afk and wanna start something new and different).

So, i actually get some issues whith my es regen
i've 1272k life/10 344 es ( i know thath's low but don't understand why)
and i use thath gear:

(i've tested the regen amulet but not work much better)
i tried to follow every step of your topic " ican't sustain rf"
but no i only can sustain the skill ( i've no loose of life but like no regen too, so i just can't run maps)
i discussed whith a friend more experienced than me but still don't understand why my regen is so low
it would be great if you can explain me ty a lot again hope you'll find a solution

for the skill tree i've yours for occultist ( need some more lvl but have all the regen nodes lvl 79)
