Reason it is going F2P now is due to its lack of subs. Upon release the game was good for the first few days as it was something new and shiny for people to play then it went down hill.

Lancers can pretty much solo group monsters/group quests so why even bother grouping? I'm done with MMORPG's like that. 90% of the players are selfish and don't care about the next player. We already deal with that in real life, so why do I want to go to the next level in a game? (And this doesn't just apply to Tera. Thats a funny post. This game will not only cost you way more time than PoE to get anywhere with your char, but it is also very "nice" F2P. Did you even take a look at the restrictions F2P users or beginners will have over there?
But whatever - have fun. No use comparing an arpg to an mmorpg anyway. |

Oh TERA. I was in the CBT and played when it came out. The first of each class to top level got a special title, and I missed the priest one by like five hours. I was disappointed :<
I was on the uber crazy Celestial Hills server. Amd don't be kidding, there is no way you can be a casual gamer for online gamers nowadays, or you'll be everyone's casual gameing bish. and If you are a casual gamer you don't even have a chance at "Attrition" league at all(Which is like a limb of the game) If you don't participate Attrition league you are MISSING OUT A HUGE PART OF THE GAME Then say you don't participate in Attrition league(people like me worry coming back from working for 12 hours character gets deleteD) Even in other leagues you will have a hard time competiting against players who hone their skills with the extra time. |
