I'm currently playing TERA, and it's very solid. Very fun.
But... you're comparing very different games. These two will be my primary games for a long while. As stated before, no reason you can't mix it up a little and play more than one game. |

TERA just lost me as an upcoming member with this.
http://tera-forums.enmasse.com/forums/general-discussion/topics/Update-on-Common-Enigmatic-Scrolls-Spellbinds-and-Masterwork-Alkahests?page=1 Which basically says, blah blah blah we moved all the upgrading items to the cash shop. |

Tera looked interesting but I never played it.

i was subbed some months to Tera, before the EU server merges and the f2p system..
This game is pretty good in action, the controls are awesome. I mean you have full control, so unlike most mmorpg's you actually need to be active while attacking. Story and normal quests are just the average mmorpg mumbo jumbo, maybe a bit more grinding compared to others (after all, it is a Korean mmo) Graphics are very nice.. The reason i quit was a very low population on EU servers (the reason they merged) and a serious lack of endgame content. The EU version is terribly behind on the US and Asian versions, so basicly the EU publisher has messed it up and is now trying to save some with f2p etc.. anyway, great game, very bad management.
