New GCP Vendor recipe ?

Ok, remember there are still few undiscovered Vendor recipes.

Me and my guildmates, we see everyday one guy selling infinte amounts of GCP's in Invasion.

We bought from him many (probably around 150). He sells them everyday, etc, and it looks like he has them in huge quantities (adn never depletes his reserves).

We (me and bros in guild) debated at how he can have so much of them, and most likely the answer is that he knows a secret Vendor recipe for making alot of GCP's.

I didn't want to make a thread like this, because i wanted to let him amass some riches before others find the recipe out. But enought is enough, he is too rich now, and it is time to discover the recipe for everyone!!!!

I do not believe that he is cheating or botting, because the Devs would detect him long time ago. Obviously his way of creating GCP's must be legal. And it is not possible that he bought that many cheaper, and that he is resseling them now for higher prices, since i never saw anybody buying all the GCP's for low prices.

I do not know the recipe, but together we can discuss ideas and possibilities.

Possibilities
. 20q item with white socket + any lvl 20 gem , produces 20 GCP's ?

. 20q prismatic Eclipse + any lvl 20 gem, produces 20 GCP's ?

. 20q any unique item + any gem = 1 GCP

I will experiment some of these.

The philosophy here is that a 20q or 20lvl gem can somehow be broken into 20 GCP's . It would not be OP, because quality gems are not op, they are just like 20q weapons armors, slightly stronger. I see no reason why GGG's should not allow such a Vendor recipe for breaking q gems or 20lvl gems into 20 GCP's.

He rmt'ed them.. lol. You put too much faith onto the devs. There is no league that can liquidate that much currency everyday.

There is no way anybody can have hundred and thousands of GCP's in any legaue. No RMTer or botter can produce so much of these.

GCPs are relatively rare.

Also the Devs, more or less would detect him already, because he is selling them everyday for more than few weeks, and i am sure some guys reported him or sent messages to the Devs about it.

I find it almost funny that people actually think GGG can catch 100% of rmt traders.

Yes OP, you win. That ONE guy knows a super duper ultra effective recipe that only he knows that gives him all of that gcp. The other 200K players are just clueless.

Look, i think the Devs are tolerant towards RMTers if nobody is complaining, but if somebody gets reported multiple times, i think they certainly react. Especially if somebody is abusing bugs, or botting, or RMTing too openly.

You don't understand the amount of GCP's he sold. It is in thousands. Also it is in Invasion, not in Ambush or Standard where you have tons of currency. Invasion is poor in higher lvl currency. RMTer can probably amass 50 GCPs in few weeks, and sell them, and deplete his reserve.

But this guy sell them hundreds everyday.

More than likely, he's been hoarding them for a while, and still is. Buying slightly below market value and then reselling at market value in bulk. Huge profit margins, long-term.

Not possible, because i watch the Trade chat in Invasion everyday for few hours when i am chill farming. I don't see anybody spamming WTB GCP's for C, 1:1 ratio.

Could be that he was buying them in the first month of Invasion, but even then it would hardly be that he collected thousaunds, adn even if he did it, he could not get them cheaper than 1:1c, and now he is selling GCPs for 1,5c each.

That would be super hard work for not a big profit.

I guess this depends on the amount? If he is selling as many as you suggest, he is surely making quite a lot of profit? :D
