" From all my testing, and some testing done by some friends, we've concluded they only roar as they are falling, and not before (and some not at all). So how is it a warning if you only get the noise during the attack? Or should we be seeing more of a delay between roars and drops? |

GGG should make stuffed animals based on these and sell them worldwide.
Since every toy nowadays makes sound these could just do a long ROAR and at the end of the roar say "Welcome to standard". I would definitely buy one for each of my kids. Is it true we can repel these attacks by wearing Vegemite on our helmets? I also heard they only attack non-Australian players.

Having finally encountered these things, i'll add my 2 cents to this pile.
They. are. BROKEN. 1. The warning cry you get before they drop on you is what..2 or 3 seconds? Not much time to react, especially if you are unfortunate enough to not have +movement speed on your boots 2. They hit like the bone rhoa's (aka like a mack truck going 80mph) 3. Whatever code/animation is used for them to drop down on you, is the same desyncing -BS- that the frogs from act3 enjoy. Seriously GGG..was there NO testing of these things before they were put in? Did ANY of you realize "oh hey..these things desync like the frogs..better rethink adding yet another piece of DS'ing content to the game" ? I'm assuming they are here to stay, so i'd suggest that you drasticly reduce the base damage they are capable of doing. At least then (since DS is something you guys obviously have no desire/ability to fix) they'll be manageable. And just to be clear, im not hating on the concept or the beast itself. I'm hating on how it's been implimented, given the desync issues we all know is still plaguing the game + the absurd damage they are capable of in groups (1 or 2 wouldnt be an issue, i admit. But having a 6+pack of these things suddenly drop down on you, especially if buffed by a rare with +as or +phys dam..) And i dont see why people seem to have issue's with devour's. Aside from that unique one in gardens, or the occasional rare that has the lovely combo of +attack speed / +phys dam, i've never had much of an issue with them. And i'm a melee player. -Zombie#1- "That guy has passed right over us 3 times now..shouldnt we be popping out to attack?" -Zombie#2- "No way, you saw what he did to our friends. Lets just stay down here where its safe. Besides, you heard how angry he is..keeps shouting something about needing the last 2 to clear.." Последняя редакция: Wolfarus#5206.
