you do realize that getting a higher resolution monitor basically allows further zoom because the game just fills the rest of the screen with more of the area around your char.

so theres no reason why we shouldnt be able to zoom out further. we shouldnt have to shell out more money on hardware to zoom out further(in my case i would need a 4k display and the only decent ones for pc gaming are in the thousands of doallars).

Yet, you do need to have a macro program set up for /oos to play the game the way it's intended... weird. Cause you'd think if it was intended, there'd be a button for it.

It's all about enjoyment. Being able to shoot things north of you at the same range as things west of you sounds kinda nice. South seems fucked any which way, but 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

Anywhoo....I thought the desync was suppose to stop all forms of cheating anyway....I mean that's why you all tolerate it right?

There are so many things wrong about this ordeal that I have to point out..

- The terrible work that the moderation team performed on the sub-reddit. But they are all horrible so I guess that's to be expected.

- The fact that people feel they need to avoid the subreddit thread content. As if they are 2-year olds that have to shun themselves from information. There is a difference between knowing something and hten knowing something and abusing it. If you can't control your ability to not abuse what you know, then that shows you lack poor control.

- The fact that this content can even be linked on GGG's official forum in the first place but it can't be hosted here? Well shit. This isn't even a borderline issue. It's a discussion about a cheat maker. There is no way this thread here should not have been locked by now. 21 pages? I didn't think it would hit page 2. The problem here is mostly just how this could be used to justify cases for other types of content being linked here.

Yeah, and snapshotting was also intended, right? And you dont need ahk for /oos, its allowed by GGG to use it though. But i guess for you theres no difference.

I'm saying there's not enough logical consistency in the game's implementation for anyone to say 'how it's intended'. Likely not even CW. Shit's all over the board. A game design chock full of edge cases.
