these prizes are god awful,

i can invest 6 hours a day and maybe crack top 200 but i doubt it. and even if i do, i get a measly 5RP

I will realistically never be very competitive in these races. But I do enjoy getting to the 5 point brackets and maybe keep getting better to make it to the 6 pointer.

In CB I really had fun taking my time and achieving the goal of the 60's bracket to get currency prizes.

But this setup makes it pointless for me to compete.

I'm guessing the 200-500 bracket will be in the 50's, this is alot of time invested for 2 points. I could never justify it.

Agree with others about the rewards for this race. If it doesn't change i see no reason to do it at all. Better to do a 1h race and get more RP than i would get in this race and i bet alot of people feels the same.

Maybe it would be better to not have RP at all in the One Week races or at least add something else for level rewards.

playing 40h for 5 mediocre points...

I was just posting the other day about how much I would love something like this. Very excited for the week long. (Kinda wish it started off as solo so we could avoid the whole "Decide which teammate gets to be #1 thing).


Rewards do seem a bit underwhelming though.


I feel like you could potentially award points for a full clear (Merciless Piety). It's going to be hard to beat a dedicated team of top players, but given the whole week, people playing crazy amounts could potentially beat Piety.

Also think you're missing an opportunity to get people excited about the weeklong when you don't include bracketed rewards.

I think L50 would be a good place to start the bracket points. Something like:

50-60: 3 pts
60-66: 4 pts
67-71: 5 pts
72-75: 6 pts
76+: 7 pts

The # rewards seem fine, but they need to be on top of level rewards. I am not going to have the time to place in the top 20, and so will see no point whatsoever to do this. I was very excited for this and hope that you add level rewards before it starts.

Total Crap wont play this race, that's for the hard core players only what a shame. bad enough the same 2 grps of people win the ammy everytime now this bs.

If it doesn't fit you then don't enter there, simple as that. It's ladder who can invest lot of time and want to compete towards 40-60 points. It is meant for hardcore gamer so let them have their own fun. You can compete in 1-2hour race.

Well, how about he hardcore gamers do these long races and stay out of the smaller races. Every race I pretty much see the same individuals in the top rankings. (you know who they are!)

I am not knocking these but they have so much more time and planning put into this game that I nor many others could ever keep up with them.

I am happy getting my little points here an there, but when these pros play, I already know that I and many others don't stand a chance. :(

I know that week races do not occur often... but these "pros" seem to be in all the smaller races too. I know they want to play too... So, how about limiting the amount of points you can obtain... or how many races you can attend per week or something similar?

I know this is still beta, but this season idea and it's reward system needs to be reevaluated.
Perhaps have several tiers based on performance.. like Starcraft leagues? I am just tossing up ideas.
